This week end I went to North Bondi Italian Food restaurant for an afternoon drink and a dinner. It was a great experience! I loved the location on the beach and the sunset light! I had a very refreshing fruit cocktail on the terrace with my friends and I could also admire how the girls and boys had great style there!

The dinner was amazing, we started with a selection of entrees and I chose a delicious meal: trout in paper bag… yummy and healthy. We drunk a very good Italian rose (I am usually very difficult because I like only French rose) and a great Limoncello.

The decoration is interesting and modern and I loved the staff outfit: white tee shirt, denim jumpsuit, and a Toy Watch style watch. I just found my Bondi Summer spot, I will go back very soon.

Hermes Twilly… I love it, I want it!

The new Hermes silk ‘must have’ has a lovely name: Twilly. You can tie it around your neck, use it as a headband or wrap it around your wrist. So delicate, so chic and so French!

The swimwear buying season just started for me. I know I’m late… I was busy trying to do more exercises and to get a nice tan before to face the reality:  the light in fitting rooms is not flattering at all!

It was not easy to find nice bikinis! I am sorry but I really miss French bikinis from Princesse Tam Tam, Pain de Sucre, Kiwi and Eres (in my dreams only)… Shame! In my point of view, Australian bikini market is more for sports girls or for sexy babes.

I first went to Seafolly. Like most of the women of my age, I felt in love with Jessica Hart’s bikinis on the latest Seafolly campaign. Unfortunately, except her smile, we don’t have a lot in common! Anyway, I tried on the English roses bikini but I looked like a 14 years old girl, I tried on the fuchsia bandeau and my boobs disappeared, I was about to give up when I tried on the last bikini of my selection… finally, I’ve got it (sight of relief)! I bought the black triangle bikini (see below) and I also bought the straw hat.

I found my second bikini at Surfection. I bought a very nice Nookie Beach bikini matching perfectly with my needs and my budget. The Nookie Beach swimwear collection is absolutely gorgeous… I felt in love with many styles and I am already planning to go back soon to purchase some of them.

I never imagined that my smile would be a trendy smile one day! Few years ago I wanted so much to wear braces to have a “Hollywood style” smile… but I didn’t have the chance to get some. Over the years, I learnt to like my smile and even to turn it funny: Tell me who never tried to stock a straw in the gap or to do the fountain in the swimming pool? I did it! Today my smile is part of my personality and I even find it a little bit sexy!

Since few months, more and more fashion or beauty brands are choosing gap-tooth models for their campaigns. The gap-tooth smile is the smile du moment! I was very surprised, when at a party, a fashion editor suddenly told me: “OMG, you’ve got gap tooth… you are lucky it’s soooo fashion!” Crazy…

Today I am flattered to have this smile, but what will happen when this trend will be over? Georgia Jagger, Abbey Lee, Jessica Hart, Lara Stone, Anna Paquin and I will rush to the orthodontist for braces? No way… we are proud of our smile!

Jessica Hart, Abbey Lee, Goergia Jagger, Lara Stone, Anna Paquin and… me.

The evening of my birthday, he made me sit on the sofa, I had to close my eyes and he put a big box on my knees. When I open my eyes I discovered an elegant black box with a black and white ribbon and the logo… I immediately knew. He did it! He made my wish come true! My lovely husband bought me the Mulberry bag I was dreaming of: the Bayswater in Oak color. A classic for life!

I love it and I love my husband <3

By the way, the brand new Mulberry store just opened in the new Westfield shopping centre in the city. Great!

I am regularly attending Sydney Biz Connection, a great business group which takes place every Tuesday of each month in my favorite French restaurant in Sydney: La Brasserie. There is no entry fees, no fees (except the drinks), fantastic French Wines, yummy French pâté and cheese… I love to attend this event each month because it’s a great way to meet new people and catch up with friends.

Because the next event is the “Special Xmas” edition, I wanted to write about it. They are going to organise a sweepstake to make members win some amazing prizes from their sponsors. All of them are some fabulous French brands: Moet Hennessy, Air Austral, E-Liliane, Franck provost, Le Coq Sportif, Skalli and Tefal. I’ve got already the Moet Hennessy and Franck Provost prizes in my radar…

See you there!

Sometimes, at the beginning of a new season,  I like to replace my lingerie. Summer is coming so I have floral, funny, fresh and animal prints on my radar. I discovered a very nice website where you can buy very affordable French lingerie: Delivery in Australia!
