Catalina is a prestigious and iconic restaurant in Rose Bay. Delicious menu, uncluttered service, beautiful view on the sea, Catalinas landing show and multi awards winning, this restaurant is perfect if you are looking for a unique experience.

The restaurant is also famous for his history: Rose Bay was the site of Australia’s first international airport. From 1938, flying boats, including the famous Catalinas ruled the skies. In 1957, local identity Jim Bendroit built a restaurant and nightclub called Caprice, jutting out over the water. Caprice captivated Sydney-siders for years and was the hottest spot in town (Source: Catalina restaurant’s website)

I strongly recommend Catalina as I loved it!

Whitewater restaurant is a great restaurant in Manly. I preferred the decoration than the food but it was a nice experience. The decoration is very white, clean and modern with white wood, stone walls, white furniture and table cloths. I really appreciated the quiet atmosphere which is quite unusual for an Australian restaurant!

As an entrée I had the seared scallops (delicious) and as a main course I had the Barramundi fillet (I was a little bit disappointed!).

I recommend it for a romantic dinner or if you want to eat and relax in a quiet atmosphere.

This week end I went to North Bondi Italian Food restaurant for an afternoon drink and a dinner. It was a great experience! I loved the location on the beach and the sunset light! I had a very refreshing fruit cocktail on the terrace with my friends and I could also admire how the girls and boys had great style there!

The dinner was amazing, we started with a selection of entrees and I chose a delicious meal: trout in paper bag… yummy and healthy. We drunk a very good Italian rose (I am usually very difficult because I like only French rose) and a great Limoncello.

The decoration is interesting and modern and I loved the staff outfit: white tee shirt, denim jumpsuit, and a Toy Watch style watch. I just found my Bondi Summer spot, I will go back very soon.

All celebs are mad about the 100% natural and organic coconut water! Health obsessed celebs such as Madonna (she invested $1.5 millions in a coconut water company!), Gisèle Bunchen, Sienna Miller, Courtney Cox, Matthew McConaughey, Rihanna and more, are absolutely fans of this water. The reasons why coconut water is so popular and is the new best friend of your detox program? Because coconut water is low in kilojoules, fat and sugar, very powerful to rehydrate your body, protects you against bad cholesterol and helps fight fluid retention (a major cause of cellulite).

The celebs loved-brands for coconut water are Dr Antonio Martins, Zico and Vita Coco.

La Brasserie is my favourite French restaurant in Sydney. The decoration is beautiful and you really have the impression to be in an authentic Parisian brasserie. The food is delicious, on the menu you can find a large selection of French classic entrées, main courses, cheese plates and desserts. Same for the wine, you can order yummy French champagne, red wine or real rosé from the South of France.

You can come to La Brasserie for a dinner with friends, but you can also come with your boy/girlfriend, stay at the bar and share an assiette de charcuterie and cheese with a nice wine.

The team is very nice and Philippe, the owner, welcomes you as if you would be at home!

Bienvenue en France… just the time of an excellent dinner!

My entrée: saucisson sec

My main course: entrecôte with French fries

I went to the delicious Thai restaurant “Spice I Am” in Darlinghurst, Sydney. I really liked the decoration, a mix between Thai inspiration and modern design. When I arrived in front of the restaurant I was like “Whaouuuu!”, very nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and the presentation in plates was very beautiful.

I only noticed a negative point. The food is very spicy, even if on the menu, they say it’s not… rrrrh aarrff! So, I said to the waiter: “you know you should put an [H] on the menu for that dish, it’s very strong!”. For sure he answered: “depends where do you come from!”. Ok ok, in France we are not very used to spicy food! Anyway, it was still very good.

On Sunday, I went to the Endless Summer Party, at Bungalow 8 in Darling Harbour. The venue was transformed into a surfer’s haven… It was so fun! I enjoyed that lovely afternoon with beautiful people, Red Bull and Smirnoff Vodka in my glass and yummy BBQ sausage sizzle. I also tried to surf on the Red Bull Kahuna Wave Rider machine… Well, I didn’t succeed to stay more than 2 minutes on that crazy machine! At least, I felt with style. Ha ha! I was more confident in the beach spa.

I will miss summeeeeeeer!

Recently, I went to the movies and saw an amazing commercial for the Russian Standard Vodka. This commercial dips you into a trendy party atmosphere with a mysterious and sexy girl followed by a man totally captivated. You just want to be that girl, do ice-skate in St Petersburg, go to fancy-dress parties and enjoy a glacial drink of pure vodka!

Presented in a stylish bottle, this vodka has already begun to hit the fashion scene. Last year Russian Standard Vodka was seen at the MYER Spring/Summer fashion show in Sydney where guests enjoying the luxurious and delicious cocktails… So fashionable !

Happy Valentine’s Day girls! My fiancé just gave me a delicious chocolate from Kakawa, a trendy chocolate shop in Darlinghurst, Sydney. I wanted to share it with you because the chocolate is delicious and the concept is amazing: my gift was a chocolate heart with a love message inside wrote by my fiancé! It’s a very good idea to say “I love you” to someone…

Last Thursday I went to Elizabeth Bay in Sydney and I discovered a very funny and trendy wine bar/restaurant like an english garden: Gazebo Wine Garden. The decoration is surprising and funny with wooden tables, fake grass, flowers as a wallpaper, waitresses and waiters are dressed with a farmer apron and they’ve got crazy hairstyles (big flowers, headband or hat). The food is delicious, especially on Thursday because you can order your cheese plate directly on a tray presented by an experimented waiter who explains you all the different kind of cheeses ! The wine is perfect and the choice is huge.
